Speaking of which, Samsung is currently rolling out the latest August 2023 security patch for a few of its mid-range phones – plus the odd S-branded phone. The August 2023 update is now available for Galaxy A04s (SM-A047M) and Galaxy A52s (SM-A528B).

August 2023 update for Galaxy A04s includes firmware version A047MUBS4CWG1 . And Galaxy A52s update can be determined by firmware version A528BXXS4EWGB .

If you are not familiar with Samsung software numbers, here is a detailed explanation of what all these letters and numbers mean. But if you are, you may have already noticed that these updates consist of the August 2023 security patch only and do not include any new features or additions to One UI.

This isn’t the exciting One UI 6.0 update you’ve been waiting for. But yes, in case you were wondering, the Galaxy A04s and A52s suitable for A UI 6.0 update based on Android 14. Later, maybe next year.

Until then, you can download the August 2023 security patch for Galaxy A04s in the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay, Ecuador, Paraguay, Guatemala, Trinidad and Tobago, and Panama.

Galaxy A52s users will have access to the patch from August 2023 in Austria, the Nordic countries, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Southeast Europe and Hungary.
