The company ZTE introduced the ZTE Axon 50 Lite smartphone in Mexico. This is the second product under the Axon 50 brand, following the Axon 50 Ultra announced in China earlier this year. The Axon 50 Lite is a mid-range model packed with essentials like FHD+ display, 50MP triple camera, 5000mAh battery and slim design.
ZTE Axon 50 Lite is equipped with a 6.6 inch IPS LCD panel with a drop notch. It offers 2408×1080 pixels Full HD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone runs Android 13 on top of ZTE’s own MyOS and measures 169.96×76.1×8.4mm.
The Axon 50 Lite has an 8-megapixel selfie camera on the front. On the back is a 50-megapixel primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a pair of 2-megapixel macro and depth cameras. As seen in the images, the triple camera module of the Axon 50 Lite is quite similar to the camera array found on the iPhone.
Under the hood of the Axon 50 Lite is an unknown octa-core processor running at a frequency of 1.6 GHz. The phone comes with 4GB of RAM, 10GB of virtual RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Inside the device is a 5000mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging. The Axon 50 Lite also has other features like dual SIM, 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB-C port, side-mounted fingerprint scanner and 3.5mm audio jack.
The ZTE Axon 50 Lite is scheduled to launch in Mexico at a price of 4,299 Mexican pesos (~$250). It will be available in shades such as green, black and purple.
