Samsung is preparing to update its affordable Galaxy A series with the upcoming Galaxy A05 and A05s smartphones. These devices have successfully passed various regional certifications, indicating a global launch soon. These devices have now been approved by SIRIM, bringing them one step closer to being released into the market.
The Galaxy A05 and A05s variants have entered the SIRIM certification database under model numbers SM-A055F/DS and SM-A057F/DS respectively. Although the certification does not reveal any specifications, it actually paves the way for their imminent launch in Malaysia.

Earlier reports had revealed that the Samsung Galaxy A05 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, which is a good 4G chip. It has 4 GB RAM for smooth operation. The display is good with a 720x1600p HD+ display but not very sharp. It runs on the latest Android 13 system and Samsung adds some extra features with its OneUI custom software.
