Huawei Mate X5 was quietly introduced in China last Friday. It is the company’s latest foldable smartphone and the successor to the Huawei Mate X3 that was launched earlier this year. The Mate 60 Pro was also subject to a similar implementation a few years ago, but it didn’t take long for it to go on sale. However, the Mate X5 went on sale only today, almost a week after it was announced.

Huawei did not disclose the price when the foldable device was listed on the main online store (VMall) last week. Now that the device is available for purchase, we have information about all models and their prices. As suggested by the tipster, Huawei Mate X5 is available in two versions: standard and collector. Customers can also opt for the annual Huawei Care+ plan for ¥999 (~US$135) for a limited time. With this subscription, buyers will be able to receive cheap spare parts for internal and external screens in case of damage.

The phone is available in five colors including Feather White, Feather Black, Feather Gold, Green Mountain Dai and Ghost Purple. The last two have a leather back, the first three have a glass panel.
