Redmi Note 13 Pro has been confirmed to be the first smartphone powered by the recently launched Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip. The smartphone will be launched on September 21 along with its Pro+ and vanilla siblings. Although there is still time until the launch, we can see the benchmark results on Geekbench.

Redmi Note 13 Pro is listed on Geekbench with model number 2312CRAD3C. The listing shows that the smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with a maximum clock speed of 2.4GHz. Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 is Qualcomm’s latest mid-range chipset. It has eight CPU cores evenly divided into efficiency and performance clusters. The chipset matches the performance of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 but lacks the performance cores found in the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2.

Geekbench has confirmed that the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 will get Adreno 710 GPU, which Qualcomm has not officially announced. Redmi Note 13 Pro managed to reach 1012 single-core and 2943 multi-core scores thanks to the new Qualcomm chipset under the hood. It is noteworthy that the chipset performance is not far behind the Dimensity 7200 in the Redmi Note 13 Pro +. The MediaTek chipset managed to score 1122 and 2636 points in single and multi-core tests.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro model presented in Geekbench received 16 GB RAM and runs Android 13. Earlier, Redmi had confirmed that the smartphone is equipped with a flat AMOLED display with a 5000mAh battery and 67W fast charging. The smartphone may have a 200MP rear camera but it lacks optical image stabilization (OIS).
