Samsung Galaxy S23 FE — the long-awaited smartphone from the company’s popular FE (Fan Edition) series. This model is expected to be released in the near future, but before the official release, the device appeared on a new certification platform.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE IMDA

The South Korean technology giant’s Galaxy S23 FE recently appeared at IMDA. The upcoming smartphone was expected to launch in the fourth quarter of this year, but a recent image spotted on Flipkart hints that the release could be very soon. The device has now been spotted on Singapore’s IMDA certification platform with model number SM-S711B/DS. The certification confirms that this is a 5G-enabled phone along with NFC, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi support.

Unfortunately, the certification list does not reveal any other details about the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE model. Recently, the design of the S23 FE was revealed through a leaked 360-degree video showing off its boxy design. Based on what we know so far, the Galaxy S23 FE is expected to be offered with two chip variants, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200 SoC. It is said to have a 6.3-inch AMOLED display and a 10-megapixel front selfie camera on the front, while there is a 50-megapixel triple camera setup on the back.

This device is expected to be powered by a 4500mAh battery that will support fast charging. Besides IMDA, the device has also appeared on other certification platforms such as NBTC, TDRA, Bluetooth SIG, BIS and others.
