According to the company, those who use new iPhones without a case may notice color fading after a while. This is because “oil from your skin can temporarily change the color of the outer band.”
In other words, Apple confirms what we saw in early reviews: Despite the new titanium frame, the iPhone 15 Pro is still a fingerprint magnet.
Fortunately, Apple also says that this situation is temporary. Users can remove fingerprints from the iPhone frame by wiping them with a “soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth.” While there are no recommendations on which polishing cloth to use, I’m sure Apple would want you to use its own $19 polishing cloth.
