Rendered images of the new phone of the Redmi C series, Redmi 13C, have emerged. Redmi 13C will follow in the footsteps of Redmi 12C as its successor. Although full specifications are not available at the moment, it is clear from the design that this new phone is aimed at the entry-level device market. One of the notable upgrades of the Redmi 13C over its predecessor is the triple camera setup; Redmi 12C, on the other hand, has a dual camera setup with a primary camera and a depth sensor.

The Redmi 13C follows Xiaomi’s well-known design aesthetic, but the back of the phone looks slightly glossier than the 12C. In addition to the speaker and microphone, there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack at the top of the phone and a USB Type-C charging port at the bottom. Finally, Xiaomi managed to add a USB-C port to the “Redmi C” series phones. Because most of the previous ones Redmi C series had phones microUSB port.

Thanks to a new law passed by the European Union, modern phones must now have a USB-C charging port by 2024 to be able to charge all devices with a single cable. The iPhone 15 series also ditched Apple’s signature Lightning port in favor of USB-C.
