The Chromebook Plus series meets Google’s stringent quality standards, offering users higher performance, AI-powered webcams, advanced displays, and twice the RAM and internal memory compared to previous models.
The Chromebook Plus will be powered by 12th Gen Intel Core i3 or above processors and AMD Ryzen 3 7000 series processors or above.
The devices will be available in configurations with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB SSD storage, effectively doubling the amount of memory and storage capacity compared to previous models.
One of the most important updates is the introduction of IPS displays with Full HD or higher resolution, and some models feature a touch screen.
Chromebook Plus devices will also feature webcams with a minimum resolution of 1080p, equipped with noise reduction and AI features such as background blur and lighting enhancement, and will be easily accessible via a dedicated button in the ChromeOS taskbar, regardless of the active application.

Google has ambitious plans to bring more AI-powered features to all Chromebook Plus models next year, promising an AI assistant accessible via the context menu to make composing text easier.
Other expected features include the ability to create personalized wallpapers and backgrounds for video calls with simple text prompts.
