While the man was about 30 feet underwater, the strap broke and the Apple Watch drowned in the lake. Noorani tried to find the watch immediately after it disappeared, but had no luck. Eventually he even hired a scuba diver, but he couldn’t do anything either. With nothing else to do, Noorani enabled Lost Mode on her Apple Watch using the Find My app on her iPhone. This way, the Apple Watch showed the message to anyone who could find it later.

Surprisingly, someone found Noorani’s missing Apple Watch, but Not in a few days, but in three months.

Three months later I received a call saying the watch had been found. I live in Los Angeles but my brother was able to meet the diver and buy the watch.
