After the series was released Honor 100 Last month, it was reported that the company would turn its attention to the Honor 90 GT. Rumors also suggest that another phone in the GT series, the Honor X50 GT, is also in the works. Both devices are expected to be performance-oriented phones that will compete with devices such as Redmi K70 and K70e. A recent leak on Weibo has revealed the possible design of the Honor 90 GT.

Honor 90 GT design

The leaked image shows a design that is quite different from the Honor 80 GT. The phone comes in a striking purple-gold color with a matte finish.

There is a rectangular camera module on the back that houses three cameras and an LED flash. The module itself is slightly raised and the camera frame has a stylish gold accent. The phone also has smooth edges and the right side is adorned with stylish gold stripes that add an aesthetic touch. While the leak gives a nice look to the back of the phone, it does not reveal the front.

Features

Earlier reports suggest that the Honor 90 GT is expected to be powered by a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. A recent leak even hints at a possible ‘Honor 90 GT+’ model with 24GB RAM, a first for Honor phones.

Additionally, the Honor 90 GT, which is said to have the model number MAG-AN00, was also included in the 3C certification platform database. This listing shows that the smartphone can support 100W charging.

While other specifications of the Honor 90 GT remain under wraps, we can expect a competitive price tag given its expected positioning as a rival to the Redmi K70. The K70 starts at RMB 2,499 in China. As for the launch, it is said that Honor X50 GT and Honor 90 GT will be announced together. According to reports, it will be released in the last week of this year.
