Xiaomi has completed the launch of the Redmi Note 13 series in India today as planned. The model range consists of three models: Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G. These three phones are the same ones sold in China. However, the vanilla model is a bit different as it comes with a better camera system than its Chinese counterpart.

Features of Redmi Note 13 5G

Redmi Note 13 5G has a flat frame. It looks more square and has a square camera island. The device has a 6.67-inch punch-hole AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. This panel offers 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), 120Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display supports PWM dimming up to 1920 Hz and a peak brightness level of 1000 nits.

The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset and the SoC is paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It launches MIUI 14 based on Android 13.

There is a triple camera setup on the back of the phone, consisting of a 108MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide camera and 2MP macro camera. On the front, there is a 16 megapixel selfie camera.

Connectivity options on the phone include dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, NFC and USB Type-C. It also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual stereo speakers, MicroSD card slot, IR blaster, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and an IP54 splash-proof rating.

Finally, the device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 33W wired charging.
