A few hours ago, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S24 series at the first Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event. As expected, the company introduced three phones; The Trio comes with minimal design changes and some spec updates. The devices are available for pre-order in many markets and deliveries will begin next week.

However, it is worth noting that in some markets such as India, prices have not yet been determined. But we do know about China. Let’s check out how much Samsung’s latest premium phones cost in the world’s most competitive smartphone market.

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series starts at ¥5,999 in China.

The country is getting a special version of the Galaxy S23 with 12GB RAM. However, while this version has 256 GB of storage, the 512 GB model has 8 GB of RAM. In all cases the colors remain the same as in other markets. All three phones are available in four standard colors and three Samsung.com-exclusive colors.

Galaxy S24 Plus

Galaxy S24 Ultra

  • 12GB + 256GB – ¥10,199 (~$1,430)
  • 12GB + 512GB – ¥11,199 (~$1,570)
  • 12GB + 1TB – ¥13,199 (~$1,850)

Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Plus are available in Onyx Black, Marble Grey, Cobalt Violet and Amber Yellow colors. Galaxy S24 Ultra is offered in Titanium Gray, Titanium Black, Titanium Purple and Titanium Yellow color options.

The three Samsung.com custom colors are the same for the trio but have different names. They are called Jade Green, Sandstone Orange and Sapphire Blue for the vanilla and plus models. The same colors for the Ultra are Titanium Green, Titanium Orange and Titanium Blue.

Phones will start shipping on January 26. Samsung is almost not represented in the Chinese smartphone market. However, the company continues to price its devices as premium as Apple, one of the country’s leading players.
