Following the January 2024 update, the search giant is rolling out its latest monthly update for Pixel smartphones and Pixel watches. Google is rolling out the February update for Google Pixel smartphones, including the Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet, Pixel Fold, and the new Pixel 8 series. plus a monthly update for Pixel samples. Several new changes and improvements are part of the latest update.

Based on Android 14 QOPR1, the new update includes a variety of new fixes and security improvements, ranging from high vulnerabilities to critical vulnerabilities. It fixes a total of 15 security issues through the February 14 Android security patch. Apart from Android fixes, there are also some security improvements and fixes for Pixel smartphones. There are also some camera improvements that improve system stability and performance.

Google is also working on some new features for Pixel smartphones as part of the upcoming Android 14 OPR2. Android 14 QPR2 Beta 3.1 is already out for smartphones.

The update is slowly rolling out to Pixel smartphones worldwide. Since the update is rolled out gradually, it may take up to a week to learn each section. Below are the firmware versions for each compatible smartphone, including Verizon and Softbank unlocked versions:

Pixel Watch February Update

All Pixel Watch devices will receive the February 2024 update, which includes the latest security patch. There are no special changes other than the monthly security bulletin. The update is intended to increase the security and stability of the system. Starting today, all Pixel Watch devices will receive the update. However, this is the Pixel Watch’s second update after the January 224 update.

Pixel Watch recently received an update to its camera app that includes some new features.
