Infinix is ​​all set to launch the Infinix Smart 8 Plus in India on March 1 and Flipkart is hosting a dedicated page to reveal the specifications and features of the device. This upcoming device is aimed at customers on a budget as the phone is estimated to be priced under Rs 7,000 at launch.

Ahead of the launch, Infinix confirmed many details about the Smart 8 Plus smartphone. According to the latest teasers, the Infinix Smart 8 Plus features a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD display that supports 90Hz refresh rate and 500 nits brightness. It features Magic Ring, inspired by Apple’s Dynamic Island, which uses a pop-up window around the front camera to display important messages such as battery level and charging status.

Under the hood, the Smart 8 Plus will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and an additional 4GB of virtual RAM. The device offers 128 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2 TB using a microSD card.

The phone will run on XOS 13 based on Android 13 (Go Edition), which is a smart choice considering the device only offers 4GB of RAM. In terms of optics, it has a dual camera setup on the back with a 50MP primary sensor complemented by a quad-LED flash. The 8 MP front camera meets selfie and video calling needs. For audio, the phone has a DTS-tuned speaker.

The phone has a 6,000mAh battery with 18W USB Type-C fast charging support. Security features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock. Finally, the phone will be available in four colours: Crystal Green, Shiny Gold, Timber Black and Galaxy White.
