The next-gen OnePlus smartphones could be the first smartphones powered by Qualcomm’s latest-generation Snapdragon chipsets. A new leak has hinted that the OnePlus 13 flagship could be the first model to offer the new Snapdragon 8 and 7th Gen series processors along with the Ace 3V. Here are all the details.

OnePlus 13 and OnePlus Ace 3V chips

The news comes from the Smart Pikachu tipster on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging site). It looks like the Ace 3V will be the first model to pack the new Snapdragon 7 series chip. He added that the speaker will also have a 1.5KB screen that will protect the eyes and a powerful 5,500mAh battery that will power the device with 100W wired fast charging support.

This is in line with our previous report based on another tip on Weibo. Smart Pikachu said that the high-end OnePlus 13 will be the first device to launch Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship chip. The next-gen premium phone could be launched later this year, just like the OnePlus 12 was launched in December 2023.

We also recently covered a report saying that OnePlus is already working on OnePlus 13. The smartphone appears to be tested with the prototype version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. In addition, the report even claims that the Chinese brand is trying this model. Switch to a different design for this device as well.
