HMD recently launched a #HMDNameOurSmartphone contest for the smartphone they will launch in India a few days ago. Indian users have suggested many names for HMD’s upcoming smartphone.

HMD has finally announced the name of the smartphone they will launch in India as HMD Arrow. The company’s current marketing strategy is to use different names for different regions. Although Indian users suggested names such as Indhumanoid, Manbha, Naruto, Brahmos, the name Arrow was chosen for the next phone.

HMD Arrow in India

HMD introduced a phone called HMD Pulse in Europe. The phone to be released in India will have the same technical specifications as the HMD Pulse, but will be called ‘HMD Arrow’ specifically for India.

Phone users will ultimately decide whether this naming scheme is confusing or a successful regional strategy. The phone should have the same features as the previously released HMD Pulse. The expected features of the phone, which will soon be available in India, are as follows:

The future specifications of HMD Arrow are expected to be the same as HMD Pulse. The technical specifications of HMD Pulse show that it is an entry-level device with a microSD card slot, which we feel is missing in many phones today. HMD Arrow will have a 6.65 inch 90Hz IPS panel with a screen notch.

The phone will be powered by the Unisoc T606 chipset and will come with two different RAM variants: 4GB and 6GB, while both variants will have 64GB of storage. The phone will have a 13 MP single-camera primary camera sensor without OIS. It will support a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging and also have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
