As we read in PhoneArena, Google is already testing edits to messages already sent in Google Messages, and as we read, this feature is now available to all people using the latest beta version of the app that was released earlier this week. To use it, of course, you need to sign up for its beta program (you can easily do this from its Google Play listing). And of course, for this to work, the two people participating in the conversation need to be using the same version.

So with this feature available We will have 15 minutes from when the erroneous message is sent to edit it. This editing time limit pattern resembles the one offered on Twitter for editing already published messages. In addition, Google Messages also saves the original message, so the recipient will be able to check what the edit was, that is, we will not be able to use edits to change the meaning of the message if, after sending it, we have changed our mind.
