HMD Global A series has been published before Pulse An entry-level, ease-of-maintenance-focused model that consists of three different models in Europe, all using the 12nm Unisoc T606 chipset. Now the company has launched a more affordable phone in Australia. HMD Aura.

Main features and features of HMD Aura:

HMD Aura Equipped with the same frames as a 6.56 inch IPS LCD display with 900×1600 resolution on the front panel Impact Pro. However, instead of a hole-shaped notch for the front camera, there is a water drop-shaped cutout. The phone has a larger screen than most on the market (16:9 compared to 20:9).

The Aura is available in two different colors, Glacier Green and Indigo Black, which you can see in the images above. The phone uses the 28nm Unisoc SC9863A1 chipset (also used in Nokia C31). For those interested in benchmarking, it scored around 160 in single-core and 725 in multi-core in GeekBench 6.

It comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. 4GB of RAM should be enough for normal web browsing, video streaming and similar tasks. HMD Aura is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 10W charging via the USB-C port. This phone also has a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

There’s a 13-megapixel primary camera on the back, a secondary lens (for depth imaging, for example, which you shouldn’t care about) and a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front. For security, the phone offers a fingerprint scanner mounted under the flash module on the back panel. The phone comes with Android 13 out of the box.

Prices and availability:

The HMD Aura is priced at AU$180 (~$118) in the country. For reference, the HMD Pulse (4GB+128GB) is available for AU$230 (~$150).
