Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 launch date confirmed

Two leaks earlier today shed light on the full specifications of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. The new leak also includes details about when these products will be released.

Trusted tipster Evan Blass shared a GIF of the upcoming Samsung Unpacked banner on X (formerly Twitter). A poster, likely from the Samsung Korea site, reveals that the next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked GIFt shared on line will take place on July 10, 2024, starting at 22:00 KST (06:00 PT and 09:00 ET).

In the GIF we also see two shadows projected from the rotating area on the right. A single shadow forms the Galaxy AI symbol, indicating that Galaxy AI will continue to be the focus of new releases. Another shadow resembles the Eiffel Tower, adding weight to previous rumors that the event will take place in Paris.

Other rumors also suggest that Samsung may hold its Unpacked summer event earlier this year, possibly to launch its products ahead of the Paris Olympics, which start on July 26.

Besides the complex, other possible announcements at the event include new Galaxy Watch smartwatches, including the Ultra model, and Galaxy Bfds wireless headphones. Samsung introduced the Galaxy Ring at the Unpacked event in January earlier this year, and it is possible that we will see more information about the wearable device at the event in July.

It is important to note that this information is based on leaks and should be considered unofficial until Samsung itself confirms the date and details of the event. Samsung usually hosts at least two Unpacked events a year. New Galaxy S series smartphones are usually introduced at the first event. This summer’s Unpacked event, like the one to be held on July 10, is traditionally where Samsung unveils its foldable phones and other wearables.
