The American brand, owned by automobile giant Stellantis, plans to launch at least three new models in the next few years.

Multi-brand concern Stellantis held a presentation to investors in its North American office. It was about the strategy for the further development of the Jeep brand, and during the meeting plans to launch new products of this brand on the market were also announced: by 2027 (inclusive) there will be several models in the series. Let us remind you that at the end of last month, Jeep introduced the series crossover Wagoneer S, which will be available at dealerships in the USA next fall.

Another new product is expected to debut before the end of this year: this role will be played by the brutal Recon SUV, which will be a fully electric alternative to the Jeep Wrangler. In concept status, this SUV was launched in September 2022, and preliminary information about its “stuffing” appeared in November last year.

Another upcoming new Jeep model will be the new generation Compass crossover. It is worth noting that the current SUV has been in production since 2016, last year it underwent a modest update that will help the model reach 2026, and will later be replaced by the third-generation Compass.

The list of new Jeep products also includes a mid-sized crossover, the name of which the company keeps secret for now. The company noted that it will belong to the D segment. It will be one step below the Grand Cherokee in the brand’s hierarchy.

The company also talked in more detail about the inexpensive, all-electric crossover announced late last month. As it turned out, we are talking about the new generation Jeep Renegade, which will have “green filling”. According to Carlos Tavares, president of Stellantis, this innovation will replace an entry-level electric car. According to the plan, Renegade EV will enter the market in 2027.

The company said the new “green” product will be called Renegade. By the way, most likely there will be versions of the new generation, especially with diesel engines. The company is yet to reveal details about the future SUV’s technology. It is possible that the Renegade EV will share the “stuffing” with the Citroen e-C3, which was launched in October last year (the Citroen brand also belongs to the automobile giant).

As a reminder, the French brand’s subcompact for Europe is equipped with a single 113-horsepower electric motor located on the front axle, as well as a lithium-iron-phosphate battery with a capacity of 44 kWh. The range without charging in this model is 320 km (calculated according to the WLTP cycle).

It is assumed that the starting price of the new Jeep Renegade with all-electric “stuffing” will not exceed 25 thousand dollars. For comparison, the Citroen e-C3 asks for at least 23,300 euros in Europe.
