Two months ago OnePlus launched Northern CE 4 Worldwide. Now the brand has announced the launch of a simplified version of the phone, namely the Nord CE 4 Lite 5G. OnePlus has prepared a microsite revealing the design of the upcoming offering. Additionally, the smartphone’s availability from Amazon has also been confirmed in India. The device will be a successor to last year’s device Nord CE 3 Lite 5G.

OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G launch date already published

OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G will be launched on June 24 at 7 PM IST. Commenting on the launch announcement, OnePlus said that the Nord CE 4 Lite 5G will revolutionize the budget smartphone market. It was designed to alleviate common daily concerns consumers face when using smartphones.

OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G will have the same design as Nord CE 4. However, it will not have a notification slider since the SIM card slot is on the left and the power and volume buttons are on the right. The phone has a flat frame and a protruding pill-shaped camera module. The microsite confirms that there is a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 main camera, as well as an additional lens that is yet unknown. Nord CE 4 Lite 5G will be available in Mega Blue color.

OnePlus also confirmed that the Nord CE 4 Lite 5G will feature a 120Hz AMOLED display with a maximum brightness of 2100 nits. This is a significant upgrade over the previous model’s LCD panel and 550 nits peak brightness. The device will feature Aquatouch technology for interaction with wet hands. It can also be found in the premium Nord CE 4 and OnePlus 12 series. He also confirmed that the upcoming si offering will be powered by a 5,500mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging and 5W reverse charging.

The remaining details, including the processor, configurations and camera of the Nord CE 4 Lite 5G, can be announced a few days before the presentation.
