HMD Global in partnership with Nokia’s Two new feature phones launched in India — Nokia 235 4G and Nokia 220 4G. These launches took place shortly after the updated version became available. Nokia 3210 (2024)This highlights Nokia’s focus on the feature phone market.

Nokia 235 4G (2024) It is equipped with a 2.8 inch IPS screen and a 2 MP rear camera. It works on the basis of Unisoc T107 processor and Nokia S30+ operating system. The device has 64 MB RAM and 128 MB internal storage, and this storage can be expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD card. It is equipped with a removable 1450 mAh battery that provides up to 9.8 hours of talk time.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.0, headphone jack, and USB-C for charging. The phone also supports basic apps like MP3 player, FM radio, cloud apps and provides access to news, weather, YouTube Shorts and the classic Snake game. It also comes with Scan & Pay UPI apps for easy digital payments.

Nokia 220 4G It has most of the features of the Nokia 235 4G but no camera. It supports UPI apps approved by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), which simplifies digital transactions.

Nokia 235 4G Available at Rs. 3749 in three colors: blue, black and purple. Nokia 220 4G Worth Rs. 3249 and is available in peach and black. Both models are available on HMD’s website, Amazon.in and across retail outlets in India.

In related news, HMD Global also recently launched new feature phones under its own brand called HMD 105 and HMD 110. These feature phones also come with large displays and built-in UPI functionality along with built-in voice assistant. They will be available in India from June 11.
