The new 13-inch MacBook Pro is slightly different from its predecessor. Here you won’t find a new chassis like this year’s MacBook Air or any of the individual features that will distinguish it. However, there are some changes.

MacBook Pro 2022: What’s Interesting?

The company has decided to keep the Touch Bar at the top of the keyboard. It provides quick access to some functions by displaying various shortcuts and program controls depending on the tasks performed.

• The hardware platform is new, as mentioned earlier. This is a 5 nanometer Apple M2 processor with 8 core CPU, 10 core GPU.
• Up to 24 gigabytes of combined memory is included.
• As in the Air example, the maximum SSD capacity is 2 terabytes.
• The MacBook Pro 13 has an active cooling system, so it runs completely silently, like the Air.
• Plus a Retina display, USB-C ports with Thunderbolt interface, Wi-Fi adapter 6.
• Maximum autonomy when playing video is 20 hours.

All innovations:

• Thanks to a more productive 8-core processor and 10-core graphics processor, RAW images in applications like Affinity Photo are almost 40 percent faster than the previous generation. Compared to older models from Intel, the innovation is up to 3.4 times faster, according to the manufacturer.
• Challenging games like Baldur’s Gate 3 load 40 percent faster than the previous 13-inch MacBook Pro and up to 3.3 times faster than Apple Silicon-free laptops.
• The updated MacBook Pro’s updated memory capacity has been increased by 50 percent, making multitasking and large volumes of data smoother.

The MacBook Pro 13 will go on sale in July. Prices start at $1,299 for regular shoppers and $1,200 for educational institutions.
