Garages, as well as parking lots, can be forcibly exchanged if the current owner decides to use them for other purposes, that is, organizing a tire repair or car service instead of storing a car or motorcycle. Obviously, the new rules will hurt the numerous “garage” auto repair shops in the first place. After all, there will certainly be a restless neighbor or the chairman of a cooperative who will interfere in such a car service, and he will bombard the local authorities with complaints.
In addition, there are already precedents in Russia when mechanics had to stop their business, organized under the roof of an ordinary garage, by court order. And the release of a new version of the Civil Code will only trigger such lawsuits.
