The festival, dedicated to the Independence Day of the United States, takes place in special areas where thousands of people are invited. It is organized every year by Arni Hürncir, who makes sure that all the mess that is created is cleaned up afterwards and that the transport fluids and glass are removed from the cars before they are blown away. However, some visitors claim that no one actually cleans anything properly.
Drone pilot Reme Morales attended this year’s festival and later posted two videos on her Instagram account showing off her epic cliff takeoffs.
He writes that the entire process took 90 minutes and was similar to filming the new Fast & Furious.
In the video you can see a high cliff that ends in a shallow pit and a body of water. Below you can see the remains of battered cars, some of which look like they’ve been there for a while. The cars don’t actually have windows, but some of them appear to be filled with some sort of debris or confetti that flew as the car accelerated and started to fall.
Apparently the public loves this action because below you can see the huge crowds that do not diminish every year.
