Qnap offers two new entry-level models with expandable hardware and fast network options with 10 GbE.

Qnap has launched two new entry-level NAS: the 4-bay TS-432X and the 6-bay TS-632X. These models are designed for home studios and SMBs to streamline workflows and collaboration. Both models come with a quad-core processor, 2.5GbE and 10GbE ports, and PCIe expansion options, ensuring high performance and versatility in file management, data backup, and simplifying data storage and sharing.

  • Qnap TS-432X: 4-bay tower model; 1 x 10GbE SFP+ port
  • Qnap TS-632X: 6-bay tower model; 2 x 10GbE SFP+ port

Both NAS models feature integrated 10GbE SFP+ network ports. These provide higher bandwidth, enabling seamless large file transfer and intensive data access. Both models support JBOD storage expansion to handle growing data volumes.

Both the TS-432X and TS-632X offer full backup support, allowing users to protect data from a variety of devices and sources, including Windows and Mac computers, WordPress sites, and Google Workspace/Microsoft 365 SaaS backups. For disaster recovery and ransomware protection, it is recommended to regularly take NAS snapshots and perform offsite backups.

For additional security, the TS-432X and TS-632X support VPN firewall features to protect data and systems. The built-in App Center offers several installable applications. For example, QVR Surveillance Solution enables the NAS to be used as a comprehensive video surveillance system. Container Station enables the NAS to host Docker applications, while a wide range of apps can be accessed through the Docker Hub online marketplace.

With the new TS-432X and TS-632X, Qnap offers a flexible solution for companies. Both NAS models will be available soon. Qnap has not announced a price target.
