Reports are coming in from around the world about a major Windows failure that has left many computers unable to boot.

The website Down Detector shows a dramatic increase in the number of outages affecting major services including Microsoft, Visa, Ryanair and others.

Troy Hunt, creator of the website HaveIBeenPwned, highlighted the severity of the issue on Page X, noting the prevalence of the infamous “blue screen of death” (BSoD) on Windows computers.
