Both devices are extremely similar in terms of both design and specifications, but there are obvious differences from the Chinese versions. Black Shark 5 has an AMOLED display on the one hand, and on the other Black Shark 5 Pro mounts an OLED panel. There are minor differences between both technologies.
The Pro model, on the other hand, features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, Qualcomm’s most powerful to date, while the standard model has the Snapdragon 870. 108 megapixel main sensor and the standard model is one of 64 megapixels.
Black Shark 5 Pro.
The final difference is in the RAM memory. While it is true that both share technology (LPDDR5), Black Shark 5 Pro has a 16GB version. Exactly the RAM and storage are the differences over the Chinese versions, especially in the Pro.
In China, the Black Shark 5 Pro has eight or 16GB and up to 512GB of storage, but in Europe it comes with eight, 12 or 16GB of RAM (i.e. with an intermediate version) and up to 256GB. 512GB of storage is reserved for the Asian version.

Otherwise, the devices share most of their features. High refresh rate displays on both, magnetic triggers on the side, 4,650 mAh battery with 120W fast charging, WiFi 6, dual speakers, 5G support, etc. Two fairly complete models in every respect, at least on paper, but we’re waiting for us to get our hands on them to test them and draw conclusions.
