HMD decided to call the mobile covers Smart Outfits. The idea is that they Smart Clothing can change the appearance and usability of the device. For example, we can buy a cover with a ring light for selfies or another cover for wireless charging.
The company also talks about Smart Outfits that will transform the phone into a game controller. Here, as we said, customization also comes into play with covers of different styles and colors. All of them are easily attached via a six-pin mechanism.
HMD says the first official covers will go on sale later this year, although it has made the software and hardware development kit available to anyone or third-party vendors. You can create your own Smart Clothes it unleashes your creativity.
As for the specifications of the HMD Fusion, it’s a pretty modest device. It has a 6.56-inch HD display and a 90Hz refresh rate, the SoC is Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, the RAM is 8GB and the storage is 128GB.
On a photographic level, the dual rear camera is made up of one piece. 108MP main sensor and a 2 MP depth one. The selfie camera has a 50 MP sensor. HMD promises that will be enough to make it a very useful tool for content creators.
If we talk about the battery, it has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and a fast charge of 33 W. In the connectivity part, we find Bluetooth 5.1, USB-C, Wifi 6 and NFC. As for the operating system, the mobile will reach customers with Android 14.
