The new overview cards organize emails into different categories, under headings such as Purchases, Events, Invoices and Travel. This way, users can quickly access important information, such as receipts or trip confirmations, without having to read many emails one by one. For example, users can now quickly access their important documents without reading individual emails. Each overview card facilitates users’ transactions by providing them with the information they need.
New way to track important dates in Gmail
The blue buttons at the bottom of the cards allow users to track their packages, view their tickets or set reminders to pay their bills.
With the launch of the feature, Gmail is also adding a new section called ‘Coming Soon’. This section presents users with important dates and upcoming events in an organized manner and is visible in users’ Gmail searches. Gmail aims to make email management more efficient by providing quick access to the information you need with the new overview cards.
