The new feature allows users to access previously viewed status updates directly from the Chats tab. In previous versions of WhatsAppthe ring around a person’s profile photo would disappear after viewing the status update. This made it difficult for users to revisit the update.
Now the ring around a person’s profile photo in the Chats tab will remain visible even after the status has been seen, and will turn gray, indicating that the update has been seen. This small but useful change allows users to see what they’ve viewed before switching tabs. Check back for status updates offers.
This new feature is currently in beta testing and is available to users and is expected to be available to more users in the coming days. This innovation from WhatsApp It aims to make it easier for users to track status updates and access past updates.
