The most refined Galaxy Z Fold yet
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition It is a Fold6 containing many vitamins. Although the screen size has increased, it is a lighter and thinner phone. Specifically, we are talking about a 1.5 mm thinner thickness and 3 grams lighter weight compared to the Z Fold6. It’s a phone covered in aluminum and glass, with a different brushing than seen on the regular model.
It duplicates the processor at the hardware level. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 brings it to life, although the RAM memory goes up to 16 GB and the base memory goes up to 512 GB. The battery is also the same, with 4,400mAh and 25W fast charging feature, it is one of the weak points of this terminal.
The biggest change comes to the screenschanging size and shape. The home screen now has a 20:18 aspect ratio when opened; this is a slightly more native format than the previous generation. The size becomes eight inches and almost the same resolution, OLED technology and adaptive refresh rate are retained.
The external screen also grows up to 6.5 inches and finally has Full HD+ resolution. This secondary display with HD+ resolution was the weak point of the Z Fold and this special edition came to put an end to this weakness.
The photography department also improves greatly, with the main sensor now being 200 megapixels, just like on the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Telephoto and ultra-wide angle remain the same.
This phone comes with Android 14 and seven years of updates, so support will be no small issue on the flagship member of the Fold family.
