Owners of second-generation Apple TVs cannot watch YouTube on their televisions, but those who own other iOS devices and use an operating system lower than iOS 7 can use YouTube through Safari. YouTube announces this news by publishing the video below on these devices.
The YouTube app can currently still be used on older iOS devices and older Apple TVs. After the announcement was heard by almost everyone, YouTube will release the new update and disconnect on old iOS devices.
