Tesla, often referred to as a “device on wheels” due to its heavy reliance on software and on-board computers, is reportedly currently facing a major technical problem 24 Channels. The problem appears to be related to a short circuit, and initial suspicions point to a low-voltage battery being the culprit. The short circuit is believed to have occurred during the calibration process of one of the onboard cameras.
The consequences of a malfunction of the on-board computer are very serious.. Drivers lose access to critical Tesla features such as:
- advanced driver assistance,
- fully autonomous driving (FSD) capabilities,
- GPS navigation,
- the ability to estimate the distance of the journey.
The latter function is extremely important in regions with limited charging infrastructure.
