Xiaomi has announced the launch of its first smartphone based on the Mediatek Dimensity 9000+ single-chip system. It was called Xiaomi 12S Pro Dimensity Edition. Firstly, the Xiaomi 12S Pro Dimensity Edition scored over 1.1 million points on AnTuTu, which is only 10,000 points less than the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 based version. Second, the battery capacity has been increased by 4600 mAh to 5160 mAh, and the heavy usage runtime is 1.21 days (0.01 days less than the version on the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1).

At the same time, the power of wired charging was reduced from 120 W to 67 W. The smartphone also had the same cooling system as the Xiaomi 12 Ultra (2900 square millimeters) and dual Harman Kardon stereo speakers.

The camera has also been simplified: it is now at the level of the Xiaomi Mi 12S. There is no Leica logo, the main camera uses a 50-megapixel Sony IMX707 1/1.28-inch image sensor with a pixel size of 1.22 µm. The front camera is 32 megapixels left. The diagonal of the 2K E5 AMOLED display is 6.73 inches.
