Redmi is gearing up for the launch of a new K-series phone by releasing the first hinting teaser. The Redmi K50i 5G smartphone should launch in July.
Xiaomi device with model number 22041216I has recently been certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). Earlier this year, Redmi launched the Redmi Note 11T Pro in China. This device has recently been renamed POCO X4 GT in the global market. It will appear in India under the name Redmi K50i 5G. The Chinese Redmi Note 11T Pro+ 5G is expected to launch in India under the name Redmi K50i Pro 5G. It is not yet known whether the K50i will debut with 5G.
The Redmi K50i 5G will have a 6.6-inch IPS FHD+ LCD display with a frequency of 144Hz. It will run the MIUI 13-based Android 12 operating system. The phone will be built on the Dimensity 8100 single-chip system. It will be available with 6/128 and 8/128 GB memory.
The 5080mAh battery will support 67W fast charging. The front camera will have a resolution of 16 MP and the main camera will be 64 mega pixels. The second smartphone (renamed Redmi Note 11T Pro+) will most likely have the same specs, but will get a 4,400mAh battery with support for 120W charging. Source
