Motorola will announce the Moto X30 Pro flagship phone on August 3rd. It will be the most powerful flagship phone of the brand. In addition to the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip, it will also have a 200-megapixel camera. Chen Jin, general manager of Lenovo’s mobile division in China, confirmed the fast charging capabilities of the X30 Pro.
Last year, the Lenovo-owned brand announced the Motorola Edge X30 in China with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. It received 68W fast charging support. The device received a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. Earlier this year, Gene shared an image of the 125W fast charger. He reposted the same image on Weibo and confirmed that the Moto X30 Pro will support 125W fast charging. The X30 Pro is expected to pack a 4,500mAh battery and support wireless charging.
Reports have revealed that the Moto X30 Pro will feature a 6.73-inch P-OLED display with a hole in the middle and curved edges. It will have Full HD + resolution support and 144 Hz refresh rate. The SD8+G1-based device can have up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The X30 Pro could have a 60-megapixel front camera. Its primary camera may include a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens.
The X30 Pro will come preloaded with Android 12 and the latest MyUI 4.0 interface. For security, it will be equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner. The X30 Pro is expected to hit the global market under the name Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. In addition to the presentation of the X30 Pro on August 3, the company will also remove the covers of the clamshell Motorola Razr 2022.
