Besides the Y02s, the Vivo Y16 has also been featured in the FCC database as well as the BIS database, so let’s take a look at the listings. Vivo Y16 appeared in the FCC certification database with model number V2204. In the list, the device supports GPRS, EGPRS, WCDMA, LTE and VoLTE as network. It also has dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and dual-SIM support.
Moving on, the smartphone was also spotted in the BIS database with the same model number. In terms of specifications, the device is expected to come with a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset and run Android 12 out of the box. It will reportedly be available in a gold variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
As for other features, the Y16 is expected to have a 6.51-inch Full HD+ display. We can also expect a dual camera system on the back, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. An 8-megapixel selfie shooter can be placed on the front of the device. The battery of the device may have a capacity of 5,000 mAh and is likely to support 18W fast charging.
As for the price, reports suggest that the smartphone could be priced at Rs 11,499 ($144) in India. Source
