The popular AnTuTu benchmark team has released a new monthly ranking of the most productive Apple mobile devices. According to the results of September, it was revealed how good the smartphones in the new iPhone 14 series are in terms of performance. As AnTuTu experts point out, although the iPhone 14 doesn’t perform very well, the iPhone 14 Pro still performs well thanks to the A16 SoC and 6GB of RAM.

As we can see, the iPhone 14 Pro managed to take 4th place in the ranking, losing to Apple tablets in terms of performance – iPad Pro 5 with different diagonals and iPad Air 5 based on the Apple M1 SoC. At the same time, the more expensive and larger iPhone 14 Pro Max ranked fifth, scoring less than the iPhone 14 Pro.

As Antutu experts have stated, the reason for this is related to the large screen size of the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Given that the basic configuration of the two models is almost identical, the difference in screen size gives a difference of about 2000 pixels. The base model of the iPhone 14 entered the AnTuTu rating, but only in tenth place.

That year’s iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max took eighth and seventh places, respectively, and the iPhone 13 did not enter the rankings. Data were collected between 1 September and 30 September 2022.
