Earlier this year, Asus introduced the new Zenbook 17 Fold OLED during CES 2022. Now that the company is officially launching the device in the Indian market, let’s take a look at this unique foldable laptop.
For those who don’t know, the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED is the world’s first Intel Evo certified 17.3-inch foldable OLED laptop. Thanks to its complex panel, there are several modes and ways to reveal the full functionality of this device. The screen has a resolution of 2560×1920 pixels, an aspect ratio of 4:3 (when fully open), and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. It is noteworthy that the screen can be folded 120 degrees and it also supports a Bluetooth keyboard. The new folding laptop can even stand on its own thanks to its stand and can even be used as a monitor.
In other words, you get a monitor, laptop, tablet and more thanks to a unique form factor and design. When folded and used as a regular laptop, users can use half of the 12.5-inch screen, but still offers 1920×1280 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED runs Windows 11 and is equipped with an Intel i7-1250U processor with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. This chipset works with Intel Iris Xe graphics and offers 1TB of M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD storage.
The Zenbook 17 Fold OLED will be available for pre-order starting today (October 14, 2022) and will be officially available in India on November 10. It is available in the region for INR 329,000. Customers who pre-book the foldable laptop today will receive a massive discount of INR 40,700 (with exchange offers and up to INR 5,000 cashback), effectively reducing the price to INR 284,290. Specifically, customers will also receive a free 500GB SSD as well as a 3-year warranty extension package with accidental damage protection on top of the basic warranty period of INR 27,000.
