Insider Ice Universe shared interesting details about Xiaomi’s future flagship. According to him, the thickness of the screen bezel at the bottom will not only be minimal, but also smaller than any other phone. The render shows the design of the Xiaomi 13 camera, but there is no image from the front panel yet.

“Chin” Xiaomi 13 broke the record of all mobile phones“, Ice Universe wrote on Twitter, describing the thickness of the bezel at the bottom of the screen as a “chin”.

No other details (like exact thickness data) are available, but they will likely appear closer to the model’s announcement. The premiere of Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro is said to take place in November after the announcement of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

The minimum thickness of the frame from the bottom is not the only feature of the model. Devices of the line will also receive a new camera unit in the form of a large square with rounded corners. We’ve already seen this in renders of the Xiaomi 13 and the live photo of the Xiaomi 13 Pro.

According to rumors, Xiaomi 13 will receive a flat OLED screen with a diagonal of 6.36 inches, Full HD + resolution, 120 Hz frame rate and a cut-off front camera from the center. Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro will be the company’s first phones to feature MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out of the box.
