Starting this November, Huawei is officially releasing the stable version of the latest and greatest version of HarmonyOS 3 for users of the brand’s flagship devices in China.

Starting this November, Huawei is officially releasing the stable version of the latest and greatest version of HarmonyOS 3 for users of the brand’s flagship devices in China. According to the official Weibo account of the HarmonyOS software development team, the stable update will be available for the latest Huawei versions as well as Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro 5G smartphones that were released 3 years ago in 2019.

Below is the full list of devices that can be upgraded from HarmonyOS 2 to HarmonyOS 3:

  3. Huawei Mate 30 Pro
  4. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G
  5. Huawei Mate 30E Pro 5G
  6. Huawei Mate 30 RS Porsche Design

  8. Huawei P40
  9. Huawei P40 4G
  10. Huawei P40 Pro
  11. Huawei P40 Pro Plus
  12. Huawei Nova9
  13. Huawei Nova 9 Pro
  14. Huawei Nova 10
  15. Huawei Nova 10 Pro

In addition to announcing the release of the stable version, Huawei also announced that it has opened applications for the public beta program for HarmonyOS 3.0 for users of Huawei MatePad 10.8-inch, Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8-inch and Huawei MatePad Pro 5G 10.8-. inch as a closed early access beta program for Huawei Nova 6, Nova 6 5G, Nova 7 5G and Nova 7 Pro 5G users who can’t wait to experience the latest HarmonyOS 3 features before the stable release.

The new HarmonyOS 3 update brings several next-gen software updates that range from pretty cool to harsh. Another feature is that HarmonyOS devices do not need to be on the same Wi-Fi network for a seamless connection in HarmonyOS 3, and the devices can now detect each other. An example is a Huawei tablet next to a Huawei phone that allows you to answer calls and view SMS messages as if they were the same device.
