Technology bloggers from iFixit examined how the new Apple iPad 10 tablet is arranged from the inside and determined why the device is incompatible with the pen. The video was posted on YouTube.

At the time of disassembly, the authors noted that the 2nd generation Apple Pencil does not work with the tablet due to the lack of wireless charging for the pens. According to them, the company has decided that this important feature is not as necessary for users as the updated front camera.

iFixit experts also saw that the iPad 10 battery has special tabs made to simplify battery replacement. They praised the company for such a step, as the tabs make the gadget easy to repair.

According to them, in the previous generation iPads, the battery was glued to the back of the case. As a result, unqualified specialists can damage the components of the tablet and render the tablet inoperable.

However, technobloggers noted that the rest of the iPad 10 is extremely difficult and unsuitable for repair work. For example, the USB-C port is soldered to the motherboard so that it cannot be replaced without damaging one of the entire device’s key chips.
