Smartphone users change their devices in most cases due to charging issues. This was reported by PhoneArena with reference to the Green Smartphones research conducted in partnership with Google.
It is noted that the results were collected and analyzed on the basis of a survey of residents of Great Britain. Thus, experts learned that in 33% of cases, people stop using the mobile device because the gadget stops charging.
In the second place (10%), the problem of the touch input not working on the screen of the device took place. Slightly less frequently, users encounter issues such as speaker malfunction and device overheating (9% each).
An even rarer reason for rejecting a smartphone was a malfunction of the microphone (8%). The researchers also discovered that very rarely (about 1%) of smartphone owners abandon the device due to problems with GPS or wireless charging.
