The Huawei Mate 50 series launched a few months ago and its successor is not expected to arrive until September 2023. But details of the next Huawei flagship line are already starting to emerge. The leak claims that the Huawei Mate 60 series will be equipped with a Qualcomm processor and will only offer 4G connectivity. Some interesting information about the Huawei P60 series has also emerged. Details are here.
Leaker @RODENT950 claims that the Huawei P60 and Mate 60 Series will run on Qualcomm chipsets. Expected to launch early next year, the P60 series will reportedly get its power from the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4G chipset. The leak also suggests that the P60 line will soon go into mass production.
The Mate 60 series is also reportedly powered by a chipset with model number SM8525, which is likely to be a 4G-only version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. As mentioned earlier, the Mate 60 series will not appear in the near future.
A recent report has revealed the specifications and design of the vanilla Huawei P60. The phone is expected to feature a variable aperture lens first introduced on the Mate 50. It may come with an updated 64-megapixel telephoto sensor.
On the front of the device, there may be a dual selfie camera that can be mounted in a pill-shaped cutout. The phone is expected to have the same dual circular modules on the back with two large sensors at the top and an LED flash and another camera at the bottom.
The P60 series may include more smartphones, but we have no information about them yet. Huawei has not yet officially confirmed any details about the upcoming series. We should know more about this in the coming days.
