Chinese electronics manufacturer Hisense introduced the Hi Reader Pro smartphone e-book with a black and white screen. This has been reported by the Gizmochina portal.
Instead of the usual IPS and OLED matrices, the Hi Reader Pro uses a 6.1-inch E-Ink display that can be found in e-books. It is noted that the new product, for which the Snapdragon 662 chip is responsible for the performance of the smartphone, also supports dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G networks and is equipped with a Bluetooth 5.0 module. At the same time, the smartphone does not have a camera.
Hi Reader Pro weighs 183 grams and is powered by a 4000 mAh battery. The device runs on Android 11 operating system.
Hisense Hi Reader Pro with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal memory went on sale in Chinese markets for 1.7 thousand yuan (approximately 9 thousand UAH).
