It has been learned that the upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 smartphone has been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in China. This model is expected to be the successor to the original OnePlus Ace, which was released in April last year. Since the device has already passed certification, this year may appear earlier than its predecessor last year, and you don’t have to wait until April. The OnePlus Ace 2 is likely to appear in the international market as well, but according to sources it will be called the OnePlus 11R there.
According to data on the MIIT website, the OnePlus Ace 2 smartphone will receive a 5,000 mAh battery with • 100 W fast wired charging support. Other parameters of the new product were shared by a reliable insider at the end of last year. They include SoC Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, 8 or 16 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of flash memory.
The smartphone will also have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, a 50-megapixel main camera and a 16- or 32-megapixel front camera. The OnePlus Ace 2 in China will run ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 right out of the box, while the international variant will run OxygenOS 13.
