Xiaomi introduced MIUI 14 at the presentation of the Xiaomi 13 series in December. The latest version of the company’s mobile software has been deployed to the respective devices. Previously, rollout was limited to China, but now the update’s availability has been expanded to more markets. The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE variant for the EEA has started receiving the Android 13-based MIUI 14 update.

For those who don’t know, “Mi Pilot” is Xiaomi’s global public beta program. New software builds are initially made available to users participating in this initiative.

This same build is then made available to a limited number of the general public as a “stable beta”. Released as “Stable” to every user at the end of the build if there are no major issues.

MIUI 14 is the second major software update for Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE. Likewise, Android 13 is the second update to Android device. Since the phone is eligible for 3 Android updates, it should get another one next year. Additionally, it should receive a security update by 2025.
