Earlier, Infinix announced the arrival of three devices in India this month. The brand has now confirmed that it will launch the Infinix Note 12i smartphone in the country on January 25. E-commerce platform Flipkart has created a microsite that explains the key features of the upcoming offering. The Infinix Note 12 series already includes Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G and 4G variants.

The Infinix Note 12i debuted in global markets last September. According to the Flipkart listing, the Indian variant will have the same features. The smartphone has a dual-tone design where the top of the back panel has a horizontally stretched glossy surface and the rest of the panel has a matte finish. There is a vertical, rectangular camera module that houses a 50MP main sensor, depth lens and artificial intelligence unit.

On the front, the Infinix Note 12i has a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a drop notch. It offers Widevine L1 certification and 1000 nits maximum brightness. The device has an 8 megapixel front camera.

Under the hood, the Infinix Note 12i will be equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 processor. The Flipkart listing shows that it packs 4GB of RAM along with support for 3GB of virtual RAM. The device is equipped with a 10-layer graphene cooling system for heat dissipation. The upcoming offering will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The Infinix Note 12i will come out of the box with XOS 12 based on Android 12. We’ll learn more about the price and availability of the Infinix Note 12i at next week’s event.
